Abstract Submission Questions

I would like to submit an abstract, what are the deadlines?

How do I submit an abstract?

Head to the abstract submission page, choose the conference you would like to submit to and fill out the form.

When will I find out if I have been accepted to speak?

  • London – by the end of April 2018
  • US Roadshow – by the end of May 2018

Sponsorship Questions

I would like to be a sponsor/exhibitor at EARL 2018, what’s the first step?

Ticketing Questions

When is the registration cut-off?

  • Registrations close for London at midday on 13 September 2017.
  • Registrations close for Seattle, Houston and Boston on the day of each event at midday.

Can I buy tickets for the conference and/or social events onsite when I arrive?

Tickets are limited for all Conferences, so please be aware that you may miss out if you turn up on the day of the conference.

I’ve registered online and I haven’t received any confirmation, what shall I do?

If you have already checked your ‘junk’ or ‘spam’ folders, please contact the EARL Team.

Are conference related costs tax deductible?

Please refer to the rules and regulations of your home country.

How do I get my name badge and social event tickets?

When you register onsite, you’ll be given your registration pack, which includes name badge and social event tickets.

I need to cancel my registration. Is there a refund policy?

Yes, the cancellation policy can be found here.

Do you offer academic discounts?

Please contact the EARL Team for information regarding discount codes.

Are tickets transferable?

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing no later than 72 hours prior to the event.

Are there group discounts if I want to send my team?

Yes, please contact the EARL Team.

Are there discounts for charities and not-profit organisations?

Please contact the EARL Team.

Can I bring extra guests to the social events?

The social events are to promote networking amongst delegates and are not open to non-delegates unless by prior permission/ticket provision.

Where will EARL be held in 2018?

  • London, The Tower Hotel – 11-13 September 2018
  • Seattle, Loews Hotel 1000 – 7 November 2018
  • Houston, Hotel Derek – 9 November
  • Boston, The Charles Hotel – 13 November

Is parking available at the conferences?

Each venue has parking available, please contact the venue directly to book or check prices.

Are cloakrooms available at the conferences?

This will depend on the venue but we would expect cloakrooms to be available.

Will there be wireless internet at the conference venues?

Yes, there will be free wi-fi available.

Do you have room discount codes at the venue?

If available, we will have details on each event page.

What is the dresscode?

  • Conference sessions – smart casual
  • Opening Reception – smart casual or business
  • Evening Event – smart casual

Can you accommodate my dietary requirements and allergies?

Once you have purchased your ticket, please contact the EARL Team so we can inform the venue.

Are the presentations available online afterwards?

Yes, where we have permission, slides will be uploaded to the speaker section of the website.
